1. Consideration of ZTA#008-24 Accessory Dwelling Units (Public Hearing & Vote)

Staff recommends that the Planning Commission recommend City Council approval of an Ordinance approving ZTA#008-24, which would amend Chapter II (Definitions), Chapter VII (Performance Zoning Standards), and Chapter X (Administration and Enforcement) of the Land Development Ordinance to establish development standards for Accessory Dwelling Units.

1. Presentation of the GIS Analysis for Public Hearing Notice Distance Requirements

This presentation shows the geographic analysis of different Public Notice distance requirements and how these approaches deviate from our existing process. Staff is seeking direction and feedback to adjust distance requirements in the Council Policy Manual to allow more feasible, realistic, and balanced public notices for future public hearings.
